Jeff Skelton, Director of Business Development
Jeff has been with Roughley since 2005, and joined this company with over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry. In his role as Director Business Development Jeff draws on his extensive knowledge to lead the Roughley sales team as they promote the Roughley Advantage to the business and local community.
As Roughley continues to grow and evolve to best serve the needs of its clients, present and future, Jeff is right in the thick of things. He serves as a mentor to brokers and employees within Roughley, and is directly involved in educating new generations of brokers in his capacity as an Instructor with the IBAO.
Jeff is a very well-recognized member of the business communities in Durham Region, and is committed to educating and informing businesses of all sizes on the value and importance of commercial insurance. Jeff is President of the Durham Networking Association and an Ambassador at the Whitby Chamber of Commerce, and is extremely active in supporting local charities and events.
Leanne Donnelly, Personal Lines Manager, Broker
Leanne began her insurance career in 1990 and joined Roughley Insurance in 1994, where she has been delivering value with uncomplicated clarity to her clientele for the past two decades.
Leanne is a top Sales Producer with extensive knowledge and experience in home and auto insurance products. She has been an integral part of the development and success of the company’s personal lines department. In her leadership position, Leanne is a mentor and coach to a team of over 25 customer account representatives.
Leading by example, Leanne models her core personal and business philosophies of excellence through hard work, and delivers comfort and confidence through exceptional customer service. Leanne truly exemplifies what it means to offer the Roughley Advantage.
Marie Poce, Supervisor of Commercial Lines, Broker
Marie brings over 18 years of insurance experience, with a specialization in commercial property/casualty and commercial automobile insurance.
As a Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker, Marie works closely with our business community to provide information and advice that addresses and solves their risk management needs. In the office, Marie coaches the commercial lines team and encourages them to develop their knowledge and skills to be successful commercial service brokers.
Marie’s personal experience at the insurance brokerage level is complemented by her commitment to professional excellence. Leveraging her relationships with the insurance companies to best serve her Roughley clients, is how Marie embodies the Roughley Advantage every day.
Janet Jenkins, Manager of Human Resources
Janet joined our team as Manager of Human Resources in 2005 after owning and operating her own successful business in the Durham Region. Having been a business owner/operator herself, Janet is uniquely qualified to provide guidance and support both to the Roughley leadership team as well as to the 35+ Roughley employees. As the go-to person for all things HR-related, Janet assists employees of Roughley Insurance Brokers Ltd. in the areas of benefits, training, employee safety, welfare, wellness and health, and is responsible for the design and implementation of all human resources strategies, policies, and processes throughout the organization.
Janet always incorporates the best practices of Roughley Insurance Brokers Ltd. while serving employees, the company, and most importantly clients. It is Janet’s commitment to creating a happy and forward-thinking workplace that really makes her a Roughley Advantage.
